Advancing innovation through partnerships

We foster a diverse range of partnerships at every stage of the product development pipeline, from early-stage innovation to research and market deployment. We collaborate with funders, industry leaders, and research institutions, both in malaria-endemic countries and beyond, to ensure solutions are both effective and locally relevant.

We also engage with global and national regulators, multilaterals, national malaria control programs, and local public and private sector implementers to ensure access and impact. Our partnerships are rooted in mutual respect, shared goals, and a commitment to equitable, evidence-based outcomes.

The impact of our partnerships

8 Regulatory milestones achieved

We collaborate closely with industry partners, providing scientific guidance and supporting rigorous field trials, to help bring innovative vector control tools to market. Their success in securing WHO prequalification and national regulatory approvals accelerates access to life-saving products.

The New Nets Project

A collaboration between IVCC, BASF, the Global Fund, Unitaid, and research institutions, developed and introduced dual-insecticide-treated nets that have prevented in 17 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa and averted an estimated 24,600 deaths.

10+ countries involved in field trials

Our partnerships span multiple continents, with field trials conducted across malaria-endemic regions. These trials are crucial for testing new vector control products under real-world conditions, contributing to global efforts in malaria control and prevention.

From capacity to impact: working together

Our partnerships strengthen the systems that support sustainable vector control innovation and global health efforts. From capacity-strengthening initiatives that enhance research and regulatory expertise to strategic collaborations that expand market access and inform policy, our partnerships drive long-term impact. Through targeted programs and shared expertise, we empower institutions in malaria-endemic regions to develop, test, and implement innovative tools for disease prevention.
